Christopher Durham
Chris is on the portfolio management team and also has operating responsibilities as President of ApolloMD, Inc., a portfolio company of ValorBridge Partners. Chris co-founded ApolloMD.
A graduate of Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, Chris has been a licensed attorney since 1994. He previously served as legal counsel for corporations and individual physicians, dealing with complex issues such as compliance, risk management, contracts and collections.
In 2009, Chris received the coveted Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for his role in developing ApolloMD’s innovative business model which aligns provider incentives to optimize patient care and efficiency.
He currently serves on the board for the American Heart Association and has been appointed to the Advisory Board for the Medical College of Georgia at Georgia Regents University.
Peter “Beau” Durham
Beau joined the ValorBridge team at its inception and is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, executing and managing investments made by the firm. He is a member of the firm’s portfolio management team.
Beau has extensive corporate development, operating and investment experience from a variety of companies including operating responsibilities as Partner at Durham & Durham, an Atlanta based law firm, as Manager of the ValorBridge real estate portfolio and as Manager of the receivables management operating portfolios.
Beau received his J.D. from the Emory University School of Law and his MBA from The Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University. Prior to his graduate studies, Beau received his Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University.
Nicholas Perrins
Nick is ValorBridge’s Treasurer. He is responsible for the Firm’s financials, cash-flow management, and capital structure, with a heavy emphasis on tax efficiency and thoughtful planning.
Prior to joining ValorBridge, Nick was a Tax Principal with Windham Brannon, a CPA Firm headquartered in Atlanta. He worked closely with privately held companies and their owners in all aspects of their tax compliance and tax planning needs. He helped formulate strategies to follow Judge Learned Hand’s advice when he stated: “Any one may so arrange his affairs that his taxes shall be as low as possible; he is not bound to choose that pattern which will best pay the Treasury; there is not even a patriotic duty to increase one's taxes.”
Nick has a BBA with a specialization in accounting from Eastern Michigan University and is a certified public accountant.
