Social media and the popularity of consumer-driven content sites such as Yelp and TripAdvisor have increased the impact of the customer satisfaction in consumer’s buying preferences.  MYIdealDOCTOR and ER Express are on the front-lines for health care providers’ interaction with their patients. 
 
This article nicely highlights that in a world where consumers are shouldering more of the financial responsibility for their health care, how consumers perceive the satisfaction and quality of providers will continue to grow.  MiD and ER Express help their provider partners with real-time feedback of the patience experience and, we believe, enhance their satisfaction.

NYP-Weill Cornell telehealth program slashes ER times for patients with minor complaints

The initiative has been so successful that plans are underway to expand it into more hospitals.

On July 15, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital launched the NYP-Weill Cornell ED Telehealth Express Care Service. Today,  just two months later, the organization has enrolled 100 patients and slashed the average ER visit from four hours to only 30 minutes for patients with minor complaints.
