Sale of Hutcheson Medical Center Complete

The sale of Cornerstone Medical Center, formerly Hutcheson Medical Center, is now complete. The sale process began in Dec. 2015 after ApolloMD entered into a management of services agreement and was given less than a week to re-open the hospital. Cornerstone Medical Center (CMC) is the first bricks-and-mortar hospital purchase for ApolloMD.

“We are looking forward to the strategic development of healthcare services in Fort Oglethorpe and the surrounding area,” explained Cornerstone CEO Jessica Tribbett. “Over the last several months, we have really gotten to know the community and are excited about our plans for the future. Our goal is to provide quality, innovative care to our patients and we look forward to partnering with community stakeholders as we begin this journey.”
